Disappearing Into The Background

It’s been a while since I dabbled in a little photography, and I was feeling kind of inspired today, so I made this….

Originally I wanted to get rid of the entire face but it made the piece look far too gloomy and empty. So I kept the eyes and mouth, which makes it look a little creepy but definitely better than nothing!

I made it by setting up the tripod and taking two photos in the exact same spot, one with me in and one without. I then just erased the top layer revealing the empty one behind. So it didn’t take very long, and didn’t take much talent, but I’m pretty happy with the outcome!
