This Time Last Year…

I’ve not seen anyone do this type of post (I’m sure it’s been done before though!), but I thought I’d reflect on a few changes!

This time last year I was in Amsterdam, celebrating a friends birthday. It was my first time in the city and I absolutely loved it. We got a little too drunk, saw a little too much, and walked round until our legs didn’t like us anymore.

This time last year I was living in the Netherlands. Nijmegen to be precise. Now I’ve moved into a flat in Hertfordshire, England, for my final year of uni- quite a difference!

This time last year this blog didn’t even exist! Now I’ve had a little over 5000 views! Progress is Progress!

This time last year I had a lot more money! Living abroad for a year really drained the resources, so now I’m eagerly looking for a job. Adulthood is finally catching up with me!

This time last year I was cycling everywhere- living in Holland, and I didn’t drive for an entire year! Now I’m back in England I’m back contributing to all those emissions the environment doesn’t love. (Cycling was way nicer- in the summer at least!)

This time last year I was single… and I still am… (cry) (Not really)

This time last year I was about to visit Prague, where I was about to have the best Mexican food of my life! I’ve never attributed good Mexican to the Czech Republic but damn it was tasty!
